Basketball Camp at Newhalen / Iliamna has been completed. Fifty – six different kids attended camp this week. We had a great time and the campers had a blast. The last day the campers where severed pizza and ice cream, a family from Iliamna Baptist Chapel supplied the ice cream, quite a treat when ice cream costs $25 a gallon. Needless to say, the campers left blessed and challenged. Kevin shared the gospel Friday all three sessions, he did a masterful job, so clear, so passionate, it was a blessing to hear it all three times. We leave this evening for Anchorage, plan to attend Diamond Boulevard Baptist Church tomorrow and fly out Monday morning at 6 AM and be in GR at 10:30 pm. God has been moving in and through this team since last February. Please pray that we will have a safe trip home and be ready to share the Good News of Jesus with those we meet along the way. Thanks to all of you that have prayed and sacrificed, we love you all.

When the day is done and the evening sun sets slowly into the horizon, "wait a minute" the sun does not set for 23 hours a day. Oops, sorry. The Son never sets. The seeds are planted, the flowers "children" bloom; praying, what was said and done will show the Love of Jesus to each one as the grow. You've planted and watered each child a seed now we pray Gods Love to feed. Your journey has ended, you've arrived home while others wait for one more day. All have grown in such a way Gods message of Love to each will say: Here am I Lord use me I pray to plant Your seed of Life every day.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lord for watching over all and giving us a chance see your Love in action where ever we would be.
